Shape Shifting Birds

Breathtaking murmurations of dark, shifting shapes fill the skies of southern Israel and surrounding areas in winter. The starlings fly from Russia and Eastern Europe to spend winter in the Middle East. This photo of a murmuration taken by Reuters photographer Amir Cohen has taken on the shape of a sperm whale.
